Georgetown Environmental Law Review

Articles and student notes may be submitted.

GELR publishes articles, notes, and book reviews of scholarly length and quality. Typically, manuscripts are at least 25 pages in length. In addition to being well-written, successful manuscripts address topics with substantive legal components related to environmental issues.

All citations should conform to the most recent edition of The Bluebook. In addition to the manuscript, submissions should include an abstract, and the author’s current CV.

(Note: Manuscripts submitted by J.D. students and accepted for publication will be published as notes. Manuscripts submitted by L.L.M. students and accepted for publication will be published as notes if the author is not admitted to the bar in any jurisdiction; if the author is admitted to the bar in any jurisdiction, the manuscript will be published as an article.)
